#OFFSET 3D POLYLINE SERIES#
Since 3D polylines cannot have arcs, this command draws the fillet arc as a series of short chords.

Specify a point to indicate whether the object is to be offset inside or outside of the original object.ĪutoCAD’s FILLET command does not support 3D Polyline entities. You can either enter a value or use the pointing device to determine a distance with two points. Enter a value or click in the drawing area to set the offset distance.Edge highlighting indicates which areas will be offset. Press Ctrl+click a bounded area on a 3D solid object and move the cursor to establish an offset direction.Click Home tab Modeling panel Presspull. The vertical offset can be specified by actual vertical distance, percent slope or slope ratio.

The Variable method allows you to specify each horizontal and vertical offset individually either by polyline segment or for each point. The Interval method applies one horizontal and one vertical offset to all the vertices of the polyline. This command allows you to offset a 3D polyline entity in both the horizontal and vertical directions.
